Good Morning - It seems that the My Wiki entry fell by the wayside. Oh well, anyway, today is St. Patrick's Day. It is also the 100th posting on The Attack of the Killer Blog. That must mean there is something to write.
I was wakened at 6am from a sound sleep by a fire drill. For the first time in months, I actually wasn't wearing pajamas, which was quite disorienting. I actually had to grab my jeans and rush out with one leg in them, Everything went about acceptably though, and there was no embarassment. Fortunately I remembered to grab my shoes too. Otherwise I'd have been standing on the ground barefoot. . -Christopher Bradley |

It appears easter went off with out a hitch. Things were small, family oriented. And I got through a bit of Stephenson's Cryptonomicon. Like 400 pages. I was so exhausted it took me about 14 hours. I'm beginning to see the azure clouds now. So I guess I must be off.

Hispeed dial up isn't so bad now that I have it established. It took like 20 calls to customer service to get it going.
Nice for the time being anyway. -Chris Hardfall |

Just posted the following article on a new Google Group. In some senses I'd wonder if I was losing control of all ability to reason and in others I am beginning to discover the extent to which information can be molded. I've spent a lot of time in IRC the past few days and I've begun to notice things. There are some really saavy users out there running the show and some really sappy ones blowing their collective loads. Sorry to put it bluntly. In any case, I found it interesting to interact with a couple of people in meaningful ways the last couple of days and that was a bit of a relief. If you want the source of where I'm taking all of this, you can visit my latest outreach RSS research project. You could call me someone who's passively interested in the market. Or maybe not? http://groups-beta.google.com/group/mavericksdeck?hl=en noisecontrol www.ncpink.com |

IRC can be downright aggravating at times. I've noticed that I'm far less interested in spending time arguing with 20 something MCJobbers than making constructive statements that will be saved.
Oh my god - They're going to revive the Backstreet boys.... Hell. Anyway - This thing is going to be slammin'. I've finally found a happy alternative to Video Poker. -Chris Bradley |

The World of Big Business -
As of this morning - I had 400 advertisements for my SMS ringtone music available on Yahoo! Its amazing really how fast things can happen when you have 100 bucks to spend. And the impressions are growing. I predict that by Monday I'll have at least 2000 impressions and maybe a click or two! I'm happy with that, just as a sociological experiment to see how far my music can take me. As always, for links to my latest news, go to NCPINK Thanks guys and Girls! -Chris |

The following message was sent to the president and both NY senators by me today, and I make no bones about it.
Mood : predatory Music : Death From Above - Trauma Zone Some asshole actually masqueraded as a band and offered me Coke and a bunch of other shit today. Fuck that asshole and the horse he rode in on. Fucking coke dealing assholes can die in fire. I've got no time for bullshit. I've been clean 13 years and I don't plan on going back, much less exposing my friends to that shit. They already have enough of their own problems. Not that I'm their guardian, but I'm certainly not permitting overt gestures in my space. Just say Hello to my Little Friend Motherfuckers. -Chris B |

So with Global Distribution I Stand.
So with Global Dist. I still stand. Current mood: Ready for Liberation. "Oh beautiful for spacious skies, and amber waves of grain, For purple mountains majesty, above the fruited plain. America, America, God Shed his grace on thee, And Crown thy Good with Brotherhood, From Sea To Shining Sea." Now, do I need to speak further on the security of my friendships with you all? You are in the greatest free country in the world at this moment. Use that fact to your advantage and help to liberate those who are oppressed. Send them your love and applause, for their efforts, and by all means, shield them from the hard realities associated with Crime, Human Enslavement, and the atrocities of negative humanistic activities, while supporting positive humanistic activities. You have my blessings as a survivor of the struggle. -Christopher J. Bradley Currently listening: America the Beautiful / If I Can Dream By Elvis Presley Release date: By 16 October, 2001 |

Now I find things are different. She wants me to go and see Star Wars with her. What a week full of emotions. At some point I should just give in and let them drive the nails in.

I find it difficult to cope with the events of the last 24 hours in that it seems increasingly, the police state of Orwell's darkest fantasies, even began to take form over my sister's birthday celebrations yesterday.
People have been deeply moved by the bombings in London, and our government has taken the threat level to Orange again for rail and busses. This is not good. Its bad enough that everything is camera'd but now we've got foot patrols of police with semi-automatics in the news. I cannot counter the forces that protect us, but I cannot believe that we are safe entirely with these sorts of conditions. Each loaded gun can spray quite a few civilians in an effort to "stop" terror. God Bless America and God Save the Queen . -Chris B. |

The Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act of 2005
from Wikipedia (my article) Bill Number S. 193 is a telecommunications bill designed to govern broadcast media. Republican Senator Sam Brownback from Kansas sponsored the Bill. Congress.org's summarizes the bill in its action items pages: "Official Title as Introduced: 'A bill to increase the penalties for violations by television and radio broadcasters of the prohibitions against transmission of obscene, indecent, and profane language." The Federal Communications Commission will be a governing factor in making decisions related to this bill if it becomes law. The Media Bureau of the FCC as shown on the FCC homepage: "develops, recommends and administers the policy and licensing programs relating to electronic media, including cable television, broadcast television, and radio in the United States and its territories. The Media Bureau also handles post-licensing matters regarding Direct Broadcast Satellite service." At the present time, 7 Democrats and 21 Republicans have signed on. The most recent signing was April 11, 2005. Constituents may send letters regarding their thoughts on the subject through Congress.org by using their Zip Code. Entering a Zip Code rapidly identifies elected officials. Most elected officials, including President Bush| accept e-mail. Thomas, an on-line congressional database allows you to view the current bill. [edit] |

Ah - With a break from Wikimedia for a brief pause, I upgraded to broadband and Linux Debian. What a change in Modus Operandi, I can actually customize my OS now.
I'll continue to look in for the new novel, as I'm sure its soon to be released, as the date for the film nears... Any previews in the works I wonder? Better check Apple.com to see if there's anything lurking around. -Chris B. |

Has anyone heard if there's a new book release coming? I'd assume he'd mention it in the blog, but maybe not...
Linux has been going pretty well, except for 1 re-install I haven't had too many problems. -Chris |
