...and that Langcaster would be first on the list.

I don't care much for guitars like that. They seem overdone to me.

I wouldn't say they're overdone. Just that they look like a Russian pimp sneezed all over a piece of Oregon coast driftwood art and then it got made into a guitar by a Mississippian with a Camaro abuse problem.

It's got a nice bridge, though. Schaller. Good kit.

But if it is a popularity contest, I do like Boog's Langcaster better than lith's. Boog is just a more convincing person in general.

Rosewood Tele's are the shit.

Love 'em, for no good reason. Fell in love when Fender started selling MIJ reissues in the 90s, then saw Greg Dulli playing one for years. I don't know why, but they do suck me in.

The wood is freakin' beautiful. I don't think a reason is needed.

The glossy finish looks best on them, I think. Something about the thick gloss layer over dark rosewood makes it look like a preserved artifact.

I priced out a rosewood tele body from Warmoth once. Yikes. Backed slowly away from the crack pipe.

I'll take this opportunity to thank you for turning me onto that crack. I used to be content owning a single, playable guitar. Never again!

Those things are insanely heavy. They're not made for old guys to lug around.
