Saw a kick-arse Ferrari.

I am to ashamed that I saw the logo and thought it was a Mustang.

Hell Yes. Awesome. :-)

But the thing is, you'd still get stuck behind some Floridian with bald tires and no snow chains, who's never seen snow in person in his entire life, and is terrified to go over 15 mph on it. Or turn corners. Ever.

Cheers,

Patrick.

It amazes me that some people are allowed out in public by themselves, honestly.

Where do you stand on Wreck-Xs with custom scoops and brown-purple butterfly paint, Gromit?

Watching with some interest Renault's electric scooter (calling that a car is misleading). The Twizy, which is made in Spain, a plus for me, and less than 5000 €. The lease on the battery is a smart move, as it is worth more than the rest of the vehicle.

It's so dorky looking... i love it. The fact that it is open and has tandem seats doesn't make it handy for longer (non-solo) drives though.

If I wind up getting a job locally I will have to give in and buy a truck. It must be practical, reliable, cheap, and good in rural areas.

I was in a tyre technology conference in February, and there was a funny moment, with conventional cars trying to reduce tyre noise, and electric cars trying to increase low speed tyre noise, as they are an actual risk for pedestrians.

Then there was an excellent piece on whether Jaguar and Land Rover can keep their brand image with the new EU emission restrictions. A convoluted approach to say "no". But they will always have the USA and the Middle East.

Having nearly cycled into an electric car rounding a blind corner once, i can well believe they're looking at making them noisier.
