I know of LodgeNet from a completely different angle than The Author.

I work for an ISP called Lodinet. Small town, small ISP, etc, etc.

But our phone number is the sam as LodgeNet's when someone forgets to dial the E. This has mostly been an accident, until just recently, they printed a bunch of cards with their name-number misspelt. They put LODGNET. So everyone has been calling here the past few days.

Okay, boring story. The really Weird part? When they call after hours, they get a World Access Communications/Lodinet voicemail spiel, and a number to call for after hours support. The LodgeNet customers then call the other number (LODITECH) and listen to ANOTHER WAC/Lodinet spiel, then leave messages for us.

If this get's any worse, we will soon become knows as LODI-Not-LODGENET when we answer the phones.

Maybe this explains the level of greatness achieved in their interface during The Author's hotel stay though.
