Does anyone know what this might be? It was chained up as if it might be stolen...

Bleak Architecture at Wesleyan University

Wesleyan University, in my hometown of Middletown CT, has many pretty buildings; but ironically, perhaps, the Center for the Arts is entirely made up of these stark, oppressive buildings, which I like to think could be described as "Brutalist", although I don't really know. I grew up with these, and I have a sort of fondness for them and their interaction with the grass and trees around them (they look to me like a Greek ruin rendered in very primitive polygon graphics) but all in all I think they are bleak, and horrible.

Ah, Hasa - the man who did what Lester Zombie did to the Restroom thread. Made it his own.

See if you can get some Maco film and try some black and white!

I am quite pleased with the result even though I only took three pictures to get the film full.

Might go visit the place in September again to take some b/w shots when it is open to the public.

Hasa, that shot of the broken glass is great. Ignoring the part about me, Lithos is right. You have given this thread a distinct character.

Alps Bleak

This is up a rather tall mountain. Without any road leading there.
Did they use a helicopter to bring this here?

This spider is dead.
A big fucking ant came up, and carried it away under my nose.
