you know, i see so much pynchon these days. on the board, on the simpsons. i was strolling around my local used book store and saw a copy of "the crying of lot 49" for $5. so i fell to my knees, screamed "it's a sign! or a series of them!" and bought it. so uh, let you know how it goes.

i am maybe being too enthusiastic here but, maybe right after his tour for the paperback of PR??

February 21st 2004 is his last event in NY and i am giving another week for him to recover from that, that makes february 28th but this year , February actually has a 29th which is actually a Sunday...

I feel like making a prediction myself. I'm guessing WG will be in London on June 24, 2004 for the UK Paperback Release which also will correspond with Neuromancer's 20th anniversary. Will someone please offer me a prize?

Funny coincidence. While looking for clues on Penguin UK's site, I discovered a little link to "Author of the Day". Congratulations WG! Penguin.co.uk's Author of the Day, February 25, 2004!

I wonder if he will get a commemorative plaque.
