i'm trying to sell my parent's wood-stove on the big ol'net. One day online, already a response... And here i was thinking selling a stove in the middle of a heatwave would never work.

Got a Sony Vaio laptop. One ot those 13.3" inches screen ones that seem small (I still have a 12 inch laptop around, when those were huge!). Official Sony price was 1599 €, but there is a new model out, so that was 100 € less. It was the last one, so that was 300 € less. Then I got a special discount for joining their customer group of 5%, so 60 € down. And next month I will get 2% as money to use in the store (possibly a game or two).

So 1139€, plus 23 euros less for my next game. The cheapest unused I had seen in the web was 1399€, so quite good.

We will blow it in a big dinner this week end, however.

Opeth: Deliverance for 8.5 euro. I just love cheap record stores. Now i need to get me the album Damnation too, 'cause both albums are meant as one whole.

Oh, it looks like that stove i was talking about earlier will be sold at a whopping 200 euro. That's pretty cool.

Out bicycling Saturday morning, I got a Braun chopper/whipper stick thingie for five bucks, with the original $35 store sticker still on it. I hope I use it. It's like new. It's always so cool on the cooking shows when they stick one of those right into the soup pot to puree. Maybe I'll do that someday.

And I got some cute X-mas ornaments at the same yard sale. And soap. Big fancy lavender soap, five for a buck.

Yup, yard sales are the bane of my bicycling. I'm to the point where I don't stop for all of them, but they're mighty hard to resist.

Cdiscount.com, a French online store has a sale on Canon EOS 350Ds : €701

I am very very very tempted.

Should I yield?

No. It's overpriced.
(unless it comes with an array of stuff, but then still you can probably find secondhand 350D's for much less...)

Link, link!

Where can you find it cheaper on the Web?

My buddy Sebastien is about to buy one.
He's filled the form, and is hesitating before pressing the validation button.
