Listening to Peter & Lou Berryman's CD "Some Kinda Funny" in my car today, made me think that there is a potential fan mass here on the William Gibson Board.

Here's a sample of their lyrics:
Source:Peter and Lou Berryman Lyrics Page
From Science Marches On (1996)
quote:
Ten year ice cube, time travel shorts, subatomic pinball, submarine sports
Deep space billboard, smoking vaccine, sugarless low cal soylent green
Prozac automat, faser in a pen, light emitting overcoat, sensitive men
Internet fern bar, humanoid squids, 88 gigabyte floptical kids

Black hole trashcan, moon crater home, automatic washcloth, selfpropelled comb
Sensor in the brain pan, feelavision set, flyaway Chevrolet campervan jet
Interactive oleo, La-Z-Boy shoes, autofocus windowpane, remedial blues
Self clean condo, Astroturf shrub, flashback epiphany afterlife club.

Now if that doesn't appeal to Gibson fans, I don't know what will.

They will be performing in Seattle on March 27th at 7pm in a "House Concert". Information available at www.seafolklore.org

Three hour drive from Vancouver...an experience for life...

If you're wondering what a house concert is you can read Peter Berryman's Whither Zither column about house concerts here:

You've gotta like accordians and really high-pitched voices to appreciate this duo.

"Telling the truth can be dangerous buisness
Honest and popular don't go hand in hand
If you admit that you can play the accordian
no one will hire you in a rock and roll band"

Try telling that to "Les Negresses Vertes"

By the way, Kirkaholic, what does your username actually mean?
addicted to Søren Kirkegaard?
or is it Captain Kirk you are referring to?
