Actually, Adama kills her 3/4 of the way through Season 3 and declares a military dictatorship.

I'm bugged about a couple of things:
Caprica 6 isn't wearing a baggy orange jumpsuit in the Galactica brig.
The CGI sequences are less frequent and less lavish than earlier.
The Stormtrooper Marines become more and more like Red Shirts.

What? and take her out of that swanky lil Dress? I don't think so. I loved the mini series, I am still hanging in with the show, but am wanting people to learn from their mistakes and get their shit together, Too much like real life in that respect I suppose. I've no doubt that Starbuck was manipulated into a... shall we say booby trap of sorts where her Cylon captor of the occupation has somehow ' kidnapped her, again. I think the inconsistencies in the show are consistent enough to allow for this sort of thing. Yup, that's what I think. And is Baltar's lawyer the same actor as for "Badger" in Firefly? Yeah, yeah, that's what Google is for, I know.

most of the time when things seem illogical on the show it's because not enough information has been revealed to the viewers. othertimes it has been revealed, just not pointed to explicitly. i can see how some people view this as a weakness but i think this is what makes the show stand out from the crowd. too many shows are excercises in spoon feeding.
In my experience, when something seems illogical it is usually due to bad writing. But then again, I've watched a lot of later era Star Trek, so I'm a bit more cynical. From my perspective, a compelling story must also be internally consistent. That's what I meant by logical. If that is also what you mean by "true to its own terms," then I agree. To be specific, I want to know how Tigh's life story works within the timeline of the show. I don't care if the explanation happens to be time travel or divine intervention or brainwashing. As long as they sell it.

perhaps the real Tigh was captured, copied to a replica cylon body with the generic cylon humanoid dataset and mission instructions, then programmed to think he was the real Tigh until the trigger went off. what i wonder is how the humanoid cylons are created. are they grown or built to spec to be a specific age? one thing about the show's creators: if they think a new idea is cool, they will go with the coolness factor and create inconsistency with the backstory. they usually try not to but nobody is perfect. i'm sure a logical explanation for Tigh's life story will be worked out over the next 7 months....

there's also this, from show creator Moore: quote: QUOTE Have you worked out how Tigh's status as a cylon will be reconciled with the fact that he served during the first cylon war?
Yes, we have. A lot of time and effort has gone into the rationale behind this revelation as well as the other four. Trust me, it works out in the end.

ok I'm cheating. I saw the wiki entry on who the last cylons are. I gotta say I anticipated at least one of them. BUT! who's the last one? PS. How the hell did he father a child? Τα παιδεία παίζει.
