If your last name happens to start with a 'B',
you must choose something like
Walter George
Wilma Georgette

Actually, Gibson would make a neat name, especially for a boy.

And another Angus perversion that I've used (ex-boyfriend) is Angst.

Conor seems to be popular these days.

Mathias is nice.

Christian is also pretty cool. Had a college friend named Christian Finch Cutlip and always thought that was a cool name.

Sometimes the personality gives you the name --
but Coll for a boy,
Colleen for a girl sounds ... coll

Actually.. Gibson does sound kinda cool doesn't it?? Not too strange, easily spelled.. but not gonna be a whole bunch of them in his class?? (I ~hated~ the fact there were always atleast 4 other people in my class with the same name as me) But Danger doesn't sound right with it *LOL*

We did meet on another board Aisha.. but nah.. it doesn't have a coll name, and it really decended into hell there!!!

I like Finch.. after Atticus / Scout Finch. A name from literature is what I, ideally, would like.. But, thanks to the damned film, there will probably be millions of little Lyras running around in a few years.. I'm still working on convincing Krad on Iorek.. Smile Smile Gibson Iorek??

Call the Kradlet(te) 'Finch' and for the rest of their days they'll be known as 'Birdy'.

Just remember who'll be choosing your nursing home.

Well.

Kradlet is...

A Kradlet!! Yup, he is very definately a little boy Smile He performed wonderfully and had his legs right behind his head to make his bits nice and clear!!
he is also, though, curled up like a bowling ball right on top of my bladder which should explain some of the discomfort I am suffering at the moment *laughing*

So, thats makes naming him easier!! Though scary that we really do have a mini-Kradlum on the way Wink

Probably not as bad as it used to be in Austria in the mid late 70's. This name wasn't so much a name, it became a classification.

Then, in English, it is a religion. Which can be confusing at times, especially when you don't really want to have anzthing to do with it.

And then, I never really liked the short form "Chris". I don't really mind it either, but pronounced in German, it sounds kind of feminine. That said, the English pronunciation of Christian/Chris is much better.

I have a client with a daughter named Nautica. I've also had a "brady bunch" family, two parents with kids from previous spouses. One daughter's name was Jade, and the step-father's last name was Green. Poor thing.

"She's Having a Baby", the movie, had these bits in the credits with various other actors that happened to be on the lot when they filmed it offering their opinions. I wish I could find a transcript of Dan Akroyd's suggestions...
