As a big fan, I was pleased to learn Don DeLillo has a new novel out, entitled "Cosmopolis". Upon reading a review I was intrigued to learn that most of the action in the novel takes places as the protagonist/antihero (a billionaire asset manager with a particular sensitivity to patterns of financial data) takes a ride throuh manhattan in his state-of-the-art limo, whose insides are wired with all manner of screens and cameras. Which all sounds a little familiar...I wonder if Mr DeLillo may have watched "No Maps". Or is it just a spooky coincidence? Not that I am implying Bill is a billionaire, of course...
