Yeah, the ackee love definitely requires...cultivation...
More nori bullshit...
I just realized that my wife regularly prepares, for my daughter who won't eat nothin', nori OMELET, since the Chieflette does dote on both nori and eggs...I think Mrs. the chief slips a little sugar into the egg, that's a common Taiwanese thing...
Me, next time they do it, I'll put some cheese in there.
Oh, and, of course, what's an omelet without the liberal application of...anyone? anyone?

More trouble...

omelette w/ nori sounds great to me. I'm having that for breakfast tomorrow.

Normally, I put tomato and basil in, though.

Hot sauce, for me. Or use a slice of jalapeno jack for the cheesey bit.

Kids are weird. As mentioned before (but what am I, if not redundant?), my son started out with 'white food': ramen, tofu, white bread, pasta with butter 'n (fresh) parmesan. And the occasional coffee bean. Then slowly up through hot dogs 'n hamburgers with yellow mustard, to current day, where he's moderately adventurous. (he loves nori. plain.) But then totally freaks out about having to finish (or eat 1/2) a bowl of (frankly delicious) squash soup. Or any vegetable except corn or peas.

Adrian, 10 yrs old, appears to eat only food that he can eat surreptitiously, so that we only find the evidence, not the the act.

Actually I was thinking about KETCHUP!!

But the axle grease sounds moderately intriguing...as colin will attest, I'm likely to give it a shot...

More trouble...

was reading someplace today that kids finicky eating may have a sound evolutionary origin,
vegetation was historically untrustworthy and it made sense to refuse it in favor of safer foods like grains and tubers

finally, justification for our hatred of spinach, brussel sprouts and zucchini

"Our"? I happen to love spinach, brussels sprouts and zucchini. As a matter of fact, among my in-laws I am known as Sproutboy, due to my love of brussels sprouts.
