Huh? What? My legs aren't helping sell Gibson's books? |

I actually like its luminosity, though I do not feel qualified to make a wider criticism. I was actually looking for cleaning suggestions for the inner lens...
Unless the Danish version has your legs in the cover, I have to say no. They make us stay and keep visiting, so they play a role in the board, however. Condensing my view, softly-moderated boards become social circles, non-moderated boards usually become wastelands or playgrounds, strictly moderated boards stay focused but boring, or they are simply boring. Fungus or dust? I've heard "don't touch it", "ammonia and peroxide", "smash the lens to pieces and have a priest exorcise it because it'll possess all your gear and turn it evil" and so on. The Lithos School of Curiousity is now enrolling |

Dust and finger grease from a previous unsuccesful cleaning attempt.
Dry canned air, a q-tip with methanol (there were other solvents proposed, but they could attack the coating) and another blast of canned air to blow the q-tip fibers away. The joys of thread jacking when the moderator is on your side... Retired |

Man, I've never been that worried about bein' gentle with cleaning fingerprints.
I've used T-shirts, neck ties, napkins. Then again, Pentax's SMC is a damned good coating, quite tough. Lens-cleaning tissue with isopropyl is good. The best microfibre cloth I've found isn't some fifteen-dollar, camera store affair, but a supermarket item that sells for three dollars and goes by the brand name of "Mr. Squeaky" - because it's a loose weave, it actually lifts and transfers fingerprint grease to other parts of the cloth, as opposed to smearing it around. I don't think marketing needs to be (nor can be anymore) limited to a company attempting to sell a consumer a product. It is multi-faceted and now we (WGB) are a place where the consumer can interact with the product. Also, we are a form of publicity which, to me, is part of integrated marketing communications. As to NGB, I am still fairly certain they are wholly comprised of elves and goth chicks. --- "I knew their tastes were very different and because the french like Dick a lot." -W.G. |
