As far as I remember, Aisha STOLE that balloon from a little kid and then bonked his mom over the head with it.

This made me think of Oldman. According to the tag it's a photo gun. Or something. It's from the Lumiere museum and I have no idea what it's for.



Limulus looks particularly evil with a blurry nose and a blood red arrow pointing downwards.


We ate oysters! Oysters! More Oysters! And they were good. And oh god I spent most of that weekend in a food high. It was bloody cold, though, even though the wine helped.



And Limulus' brilliant friend killed a naked chicken with his hands, yelling, "die Grendel, DIE." He is awesome.


Remote nurses his hot chocolate. He cheated on his tea. He thinks just cos he's in France he can do that.

The Limuli are both very photogenic and look like they are just one step away from having a brilliant adventure.



Did I mention the food high?

That was a creamy concoction of mushrooms and turnips with marinated octopus, rocket salad and milk foam piled on top, with a kind of olive pesto on the side.



And great tea ice cream and tiramisu.



Lacking tea, I think there should be wine and camera pictures! And someone else should have the other part of that particular picture.

I've seen the Lyons pics from Remote and BtB also. Some very nice ones all around, and it looks like a great time was had by everyone.

got so far uploading to flickr, with a load more to go up. though looks like most of the stuff is covered here in some shape or form. certainly, i have some stuff that will hopefully flesh the picture out without being too repetitive... we will see.

in some ways the cathedral shot was the most vivid and memorable single installation


i should probably try and tweak this a little, but this is a girl, sitting on the ground, trying to sketch the cathedral


the festival commemorates how mary saved lyon from the plague, riding into town on a white charger with a pistol in each hand shooting all the rats, at least that was my theory

the EDF show, across two buildings, kid's toys, writing, one of the big spectacular's of the weekend.

the streets were crowded


these were cool. it was a net of plastic cups, filled with just enough liquid to cover the bottom inch or so. when the UV lights flicked on along the net the liquid lit up, the lights sweeping along the length to create the luminous green rippling effect.

here they were playing organ music, and the lights were spinning round as though the whole space was a merry go round. you can see the outlines of babylon, limulus and aisha


an inflated shell, with voices and sounds mixing with the images projected on to it



down on the river bank, spinning plates, with graphic equalizer style red bars going up and down, mounted in a paddling pool of water
