I tried watching this movie and was struck by just how much I didn't care about anyone in the movie or what the possible outcome would be. It is a real dog and don't be taken in by the jacket like I was. It sucks and blows at the same time, if that is at all possible.

Ok here is another movie that totally blew. The instant Paul Giamatti, who I love as an actor, opened his mouth I wanted to take the DVD out of the player and clean it. But, I gave it a chance and watched 20 min of it. Those 20min seemed to last an eternity. Don't be taken in this movie is a DOG>

Alas, Cold Souls is in the mail from Netflix.

And I own both DVD and BluRay copies of Juno. Smile

I'm sure there'll always be a certain 'I liked it' subthread to this thread, taste and diversity being what they are. Heck, I guess it's even possible that someone, somewhere, enjoyed Two Lovers.

OK, here's one that should inspire universal hatred:

In the Name of the King: Dungeon Siege

Nah, I actually didn't hate it. I'm a sucker for cheesy fantasy and for Jason Statham, so it was bearable, in a laughable sort of way.

Too easy. Worst movie ever made.

Whole thing's on YouTube if you doubt me on this. Adam Sandler needs to be executed.

Easy.
Worst movie I've ever seen:

It's not even gloriously bad. It's just the very bottom of an abyss of mediocrity.

But that's not even a movie. Those aren't called movies. Those are called Scarlett Johanssons.

The Other Boleyn Girl

The Nanny Diaries

The Island

Match Point

Girl with a Pearl Earring

Horrible movies. Excellent Scarlett Johanssons.

I often wonder how Brad Pitt ever got another gig after this one...

Avatar was a pretty bad movie, but a great movie experience. I enjoyed it on that level. Twice.

I'll admit to liking Lost in Translation quite a lot, but that was down to Bill Murray. (If you're a Murray fan and haven't seen his cameo in Zombieland yet, it's well worth the price of admission.)

The Other Boleyn Girl wasn't a bad flick, it just wasn't a particularly good one. And it did something I thought impossible - it proved that Natalie Portman can actually act. She was excellent in it.

As for the other Johannsons mentioned by Trog, he's absolutely right. The ones I've seen from that list were real stinkers.

Hmmm, if this thread proves anything, it certainly proves movie viewing prefs vary wildly amongst members!
