Tonight's project: tethering! Hopefully that will get me laptop intarwebz access at work finally. I have to admit the iPhone has taken the place of it at home though.

It hooks straight up to my wireless and starts streaming really fast from there on out. I can check Twitter and emails from the couch while watching movies etc.

Mah N95. I use it for email, surfing, video, decent pics, etc. One of my favourite aspects is that I tend to have less endless arguments (you know, the kind that devolve into "I'm right!", "No, I'm right!") due to the abilty to simply look up the answer.
Of course, that starts with Wiki, so who knows if I'm actually getting the right answer...

Also, it's a nice throwback to the 90s for me, since a 3.5 wireless seems to be a lot like a 56k modem and it's only got an 8gb HDD. Razz

Indeed.
That's why I don't really access the Web from my Blackberry.
I mostly use it for email and Twitter.

I'm dumber because of my smartphone. It remembers things so I don't have to, and gives me near instant access to the 'net for the things it doesn't know itself.

On the flipside, I'm playing chess again because I'm determined to beat the darn thing on the easiest setting. Yeah, I've gone that dumb! Frown

Plently of mobile webpages these days, with more popping up all the time.

Hmmm, perhaps I should have made this thread into some kind of poll.....

So far I find the whole thing underwhelming considering the average extra $30 per month for web usage the major providers charge. Maybe in a few years this will seem worth it but so far, no thanks phone co's....
