Bizarre news.
The woman hired to run the restaurant "for the long term" she said, and who fired me, has emailed my jazz boss saying: "Just want to let you know that I'll be leaving the Hamlet in the next month or so to open an upscale take-out cafe across from the hospital in Templeton. Roy's daughter's will be running the restaurant should you need clarification or assistance with anything." fyi, Templeton is between the `larger' cities of Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo. It's ranchetts and Target strip mall area. Oh, and horse ranches. I am finding this laughable. I think either she has found more bucks or the kids have fired her in a kind way. People around me are happy for me. I only see it as a faint light in the distance in my tunnel. Jazz concert this Sunday...hope to see one of the daughters to ask for my job back. Wish I knew what was going on. I know she repulsed some folks for her detachment and coldness but that doesn't mean shit for me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nurturing my inner clown. |
