Well, no inappropriate shutter speed - just an inappropriate attempt to photograph a sodding flying fox at dusk. I'm sure the wilful little bastards refuse to hang motionless in the air just to be difficult.

i've had that problem with foxes as well, though not the flying kind, they just don't hang around obligingly. squirrels tend to be a little more accomodating.
