I've come across a reference for a book called Sorrow's Company edited by by DeWitt
Henry.

It sports an article by "William Gibson" I am hesitant to assume it is a rarity, it may well be by that other William Gibson, the playwrite.

As I have not seen the book itself, I cannot asses the piece by style alone.

here's an URL,

Ok OK,

I've just a whisper that The Sorrow's Company essay is in fact a reprint from 1969 and therefore written by the "William Gibson" who wrote the Miracle Worker among many other plays.

Well anyway.
