We can get patches sewn to the breast pockets of blazers. But what will the colors in the tie be? Secret handshake? Code words? Prescribed punishment for those who betray our confidence?

Mh, yes, nice, detailed embroidery. A patch for the breast pocket of thick, plush robes.
Add a pipe, a comfy armchair...

I wish I was old enough to join(I don't even have a lawn). But someday.

Until then I'll just have to be content with the Knights of BOFH (Bastard Operator From Hell). Get off my systems you damn users!!

Reading back this thread i'm seriously considering to join...
Too bad i've not gun at all. There's italian laws about it that forbid me to have one easily (and legally).
However i can do quite well with almost any not-classified-as-a-weapon tool i can find home: hammers, screwdrivers, knives, scissors, spoons (not many would believe what a spoon well used can do to others faces...)
Will that work as curriculum vitae?

i don't think the gun is entirely important.
for me its more an ability to mutter under your breath, swear at people in a cantankerous fashion, and the skills in shaking your fist at people in a "why i oughta" fashion.

Applications must be recieved, in triplicate by registered snail mail, at Mean Old Man's home address. Applications consist of a $50 bank note, unless otherwise noted by Mr. Mean Old Man.
