I stopped drinking some time ago, alas.

I think what I need to do is to quit studying the math and just increase my verbal as high as I can. I'm at about 750-770 now. Hopefully, for humanities type programs, they much care about the math.

We'll see. I just can't seem to do well on the math. My scores go from about 450-650 on math. How is that even possible?

Edit: did you take the Powerpep Computer tests before the test? Did they compare to the actual test?

I know that the tests in that ETS 10th Edition Book are way easier than the other samples I have taken and you said the same.

Let me know.

Thanks, Edit.

I found that the practice tests on the Princeton review CD-ROM were the best. There are four and you can see your score as you go if you want. I overall found Princeton to be the clearest on the math. I suck at math in general and they helped.

The PowerPrep software was closest to what I found on the tests, but I got more slope intercept whatever-the-fuck questions than I have ever seen on any practice tests.

I used Barron's, Kaplan and Princeton review. I started with Kaplan, which gave a good foundation. Barron's is kind of Byzantine for me. Too many tactics, too much hard core math.

If you want more of a review of the various books, let me know.
