Oh god, FP! Great hilarious story and wonderful photo!

I can't for the life of me remember my 20th. Might try the ex and check his memory.

Happy Birthday, GR. Say 'hi' to Twi.

So what exactly is this new computer you've received?

Happy birthday GR!

On my twentieth birthday I'm pretty sure I went to see Dinosaur Jr play in Fulham, possibly at the Greyhound. The evening started with a pint of vodka jelly, then another vodka jelly. Then I passed out for a while. We headed to Fulham, watched the support band. My friend was really drunk/ill so I took him to the Tube station and put him on the train (unfortunately the wrong train). Watched Dinosaur Jr, then slept on the floor at my friends' squat.

That was 1988. Hopefully my 40th birthday will be similar.

November 19th, 1 month and 1 day after Kradlet is due so I expect I'll be practising sleeping at 4 hour intervals.

Smile Yes, you will be entering the wonderful world of sleep deprivation. How to celebrate the day? Perhaps with a nap!

You, sir, are an optimist.

Well, maybe after a month.

Ok. so. the actual birthday.
went out with Twi in the morning after a breakfast of much toast. bought a usb mouse for the new laptop. and "American Gods", "Ender's Game", and "Valiant: A Modern Tale of Faerie".
poked around the music store a bit.
went out for lunch and Twi ate the largest burger known to mankind. half-loaf of french bread, three burger patties, and all the fixings. it was unbelievable.
went home for a while, started reading "Valiant" while Twi read "Daemon".
and then up to my grandparent's house for BBQ chicken and trout with salads. gave Twi a tour of the local flora (and some fauna) before dinner.
left the Olds place around 8pm, rented some movies and had a quiet night in.
i'm boring, but i had fun Razz
