I love you, man.

In the Biblical sorta sense, not the Ancient Greek sorta sense.

The worse thing for it is my generation's sense of overconfidence and entitlement. I created it, so it is great! No, there's a very good chance it might be shite. The whole "it's the journey, not the destination" - it's fact you took the whole three seconds to point your Nokia at your friend dropping E at a disco, not the fact that it looks like strained afterbirth, that matters. There, there. Have a cookie. Because criticism is a form of abuse, apparently. Because we are all unique and wonderful snowflake, each capable of doing anything we put our mind to.

Yeah, right.

Owning some form of image-capture device is enough, just as dreaming of becoming the world's greatest neurosurgeon is enough, even if you have hands that shake like Michael J. Fox dancing the swim on the San Andreas fault and you have the visual acuity of a cavefish.

On the other hand, the WGB's the only place I stick my photos online, so maybe I'm getting insular.

Hey Jim, i forgot to say how good i think your photo of the lamp was, when i saw it earlier. It's really great.

And echo MOM's and Lithos' sentiment. One of the reasons why i don't go digital is because i want to think about my photos before i hit the shutter button. Somehow the digital medium triggers the exact opposite.

Anyway... taking a deep breath for another stash of Seoul photos. Here goes...

I love you men but I don't see what is wrong with that. Does it harm things when you shoot them too many times?

I believe that in a lot of situations it's the journey that matters, not the destination. But I don't see what it has to do with people getting access to a new kind of devices which allow them to easily capture what they see.

It's like giving people a sheet of paper and a pen and say "There, now you can write, but don't put too many words in there because you know you write like shit, don't you?"

Wanderer, all those pics were great. I like "self portrait" and "Brugge" the best.

lithos, thank you very much.

Oniichan, it looks like you got more snow than we did.

herr kuchen, here's another N.M. horizon shot. Looking west from the old casino to the volcanoes.
