what's funny, is I am kind of the same way.

Well, my camera doesn't have sepia or monochrome modes, so I'd have to photoshop those in.

I'd don't like make major changes much* - although I did with that bird of paradise (and I'll post an example soon) - but what I use it for trying to make up for hardware shortcomings, like a dodgy CCD, unchangeable depth-of-field settings or, as above, lack of tonal choices.

I hate poetry too. Especially that modern/postmodern crap. Which will be interesting, as I have to both write and critique some for uni this year. Joy. And the worse thing is if we dislike someone's work, we're practically not allowed to tell them we dislike it. Brooding lil bastards indeed, HTTF.

And for the minimalist in you (presented here as a piece of irony - how po-mo!):

*mostly cause I suck at photoshop unlike these guys.

Part of this for me is that I'm kind of anti-photoshopping.

[eyebrow]

I hope you've read the whole conversation. We made the obligatory "except WGBers" back on the previous page.

Go getting all angsty, would you... Just trying to get our hate on here. Carry on. Nothing to see.

no you didn't. there was no "we" doing any WGBer disclaiming, and "your" disclaimer was more along the lines of "pay me no mind i'm just hateful".

i don't mean to be a hard ass but i took much offense from your statements. the both of you.

Okay the words are starting to catch up with the pictures even at the 1000 to 1 ratio.

I was hoping we could let it pass and get on with the photos. There's an implied exception to every broad generalization about a group of people. There are plenty of poets that I like, just as there are Republicans that I like, but they are not stereotypical people. I don't really believe that any one role can define a person, and I should think you would know that.

I actually love poets (even bad ones) but don't like ethereal cats.

It's my secret shame.
