Rain finally came...

if you can see the bus driver behind the reflection, he is calling metro police on me for not paying the fare. I only had a 5, and he weren't getting it. He said he was gonna take my picture so i couldn't ride his bus again, so i pulled out my camera and took his while flipping him off.

I love alleyway doors...

...and these little guys...

...and this psycho,

but this weirdo freaks me out!

I mean, really!

terribly happy-making posts, boys.

Thanks MOM, and booger - love the alleyway door.

I actually have some stuff to add here, but I can only post it from home, and I do 90% of my wgb-surfing from work it seems. I'll get around to it.

I noticed MOM's are sized to exactly the width of the post-well.

If y'all want to be really cool, you could link to a larger photo or just use a larger photo and resize using html for the post, so's I can use em for my desktop at work. As is, it's really very tragic actually. They're all just small enough to look like crap stretched to desktop size.

so, do you upload the pics on the WGB or do you have them saved somewhere else and post links?

and, quite irrelevant, where is the WGB photo albums?

You have to post an album, and then you can add pics to it as needed, but they're limited in capacity and the links are long and they get archived if you're not careful.

I post photos elsewhere on a free site and then link to them here.

Booger, sure I guess. Seems like a hassle. I can't email from work, so I'll deal with it later.

I think you can also post the picture as an attachment to the post, and link to the attachment as an image (ever since that attachment feature appeared). I've never tried it myself though.

Edit: BTW boog, those are some fine shots. Especially the door and the splash one.

HTML resizing makes life horrendous for those who don't always have a broadband connection. Thumbnails make life nice for everyone except the person who has to generate them...

I particularly like Mr. boogerhead's pussycat picture:

And thank you all for the kind comments. Just a few snaps I took on a whim, over a span of 23-odd minutes at suppertime yesterday. Most of those, I couldn't even see what was in the viewfinder. It's a shitty camera for street work.

it was funny, that one....i'd been fussing with the spot focus of my camera for like 30 seconds and he'd been absolutly motionless, but he must've sensed my finger tension right before i pushed the button and looked to the left. i love how it turned out, but he is more responsible for the pic than i.
