That is one of the landmark works of art on the Thessaloniki quayside. "Ombreles" (Umbrellas) by Georgios Zoggolopoulos.
The specific item is so beautifull, you can't really take a bad picture of it. Others have taken better pictures of it.

The first picture you linked is quite good, but I prefer yours to the second one you linked. So there.

nah. i prefer the intimacy/angle of your one, both of those other pictures are too detached/distant from the object.

'Chota Peg' means 'small drink' in Hindi and was the common name for a Gin & Tonic in the days of the Raj. The G&T evolved as a way to disguise the taste of the quinine in the tonic. The tonic was almost pure quinine, not the diluted stuff we call 'tonic water'. Quinine was essential in warding off the parasites who spread malaria.

Samoa is a place I would like to visit again.

Visited the marvellous "Himmelhøj" (skyhill/high) made by the landscape-artist Alfio Bonanno in the very flat extensive Amager Fælled just 10 minutes away from the city of Copenhagen.
