the doctor is in, and he is now serving coffee, with the bald headed gent being one of those auton creatures!

this girl was lying in that bath, preparing to start promoting her product along with her colleagues. but it started to rain. they all jumped in the jeep, and she started squealing and climbing out the bath. i wasn't sure i was going to get her at all!

just a little bit up the street, the day had been pretty warm, so everyone had dressed accordingly, once the rain came down everyone gathered to shelter under the overhang in front of the shops.

this caught my eye the other week, one of a series of emblem/symbols along a building front, its currently a chinese restaurant, but i suspect these pre-date that. this was the most bemusing image.

That is the coat of arms of the city of Glasgow, rendered in the style of one of its most famous sons, Charles Rennie Mackintosh.



This explains the symbolism in the crest.

Info here about Mackintosh, who was born & worked in Glasgow in the early part of his life but died just over the road from where I am now sitting.
