Sorry; I haven't been online yet today! Yeah, it would be very cool to see Son Volt again. Farrar is best when somebody whips some adrenaline into his ass, and Heidorn and the Boquists are perfect for the job. However, I'd heard that the reunion wasn't going to happen anymore, largely due (once again) to Farrar being a butthead about it. I'll be surprised if it actually comes to pass!

But if it does come to pass, then who knows? Maybe the wife and I could make a vacation out of it and stretch the Passat's legs a bit. Thanks for the info!

Son Volt is definitely going to play at Wakarusa, they have confirmed it... however, it isn't the REAL Son Volt, at least 1 or 2 of the members of the original band are not on board with the new album/Wakarusa thing. (You DO know that there is a new album out soon right? ) But, I'd still pay to see Farrar play... plus there are a lot of other good bands on the docket there.
