I just came across this.. looking forward to the DVD release..

I've been in the U2/WG overlap for years.. ever since Zooromancer edits and the 1992? Details magazine article entitled "Turning Money into Light" where Bono/Edge and Gibson had a conversation transcribed for the issue..

How did I miss this Mark Neele project.. and why did they hold out for so long on the U.S. demographic? I guess because they can. (smug bastards)

Anyway, at that point in 92.. I began formulating a screenplay from this overlaping territory.

Actually is didn't occur to me that the opera in my head was a screenplay until 1998.. started on it and worked on it, like binary code, on and off.. Rushdie's "The Ground Beneath Her Feet", U2's "All That You Can't Leave Behind", and Gibson's "Pattern Recognition" all showed up on in the perpetual search engine in the mean-time..

But I completed the infrastructure of the story, in screenplay format.
