As long as the computer that's doing the
scrobbling is connected to the network, I think
there shouldn't be a problem. Are you using the
same computer you usually use?

If it's a new computer you will need to re-enter your last.fm username and password into the preferences so it knows which user to "scrobble" as.

Yeah, still on the same machine. Seems like the widget is scrobbling, it's just not uploading what I'm listening to to my public last.fm profile. My proxy settings are set to automatic rather than manual, could that be it?

It seems that Photobucket has either lost or deleted my account. Is anyone else having a problem like this. I haven't uploaded anything there to which they could reasonably object, so I'm puzzled about what's going on. This has happened before and I'm getting fed up with it. It seems like piss poor service.

I've never had any problems with Photobucket...I've used the service since 2004, "Pro" account since 2005.

They seem not to like me. This is the third time this has happened, as well as the time not long ago when they zapped one of my pictures for "not meeting out standards" when it was nothing but a blurry shot of my face. This is all in less than two years.

The weird thing is that I can log in but get "server not found" when I try to go anywhere on the site.

Maybe this is the problem. The small print in parentheses says (Turkish Hacker Group).

That'd explain it. This is the bit where you hope Photobucket has good backup and recovery practices.

I don't have anything there that's not still in my files, but it is a pain. I already signed with flickr, will continue with them for a while. But it would be nice if the stuff I recently posted came back for a while.

I recall getting a pop-up/screen recently while logging into PBucket, basically said that due to some 'security issues', it was recommended to change your password. I didn't. And I've had no problems with my account, ever.

There is one setting you should check. iScrobbler's default is to queue all submissions when an iPod is mounted. So it may be storing all those scrobbles up for when you log out. Go to iScrobbler preferences and untick that box for live scrobbling.

Man, my photobucket's fine. Don't tag anything in it; it draws attention to people who might wish to h@X0r it.

Wouldn't trust flickr as far as I could throw it, though.

I'm still going with flickr for a while. I was thinking about a change anyway because of other problems I've had with p-bucket. "So it goes."

I looked around Google for an answer but don't know what I need.

I want to make an audio clip that I can add to a movie, how do I do this?

Say I want to take a portion of a full track, how do I do it?
