Enjoy the movie. Mrs Bik went to see it last weekend with a bunch of girlie frinds - said it was like a fancy dress show at the cinema; large groups of women dolled up to teh nines - all high heels, frocks and gold handbags, giggling away and impersonating teh characters. Only a few men there, seemingly under duress.

Went a bit overboard yesterday, maybe because cooking and eating good food are good for my peace of mind. Funghi Porcini risotto with lightly sauteed fresh duck liver.

Unhealthy, but also uncut food of the gods.

Inquiring minds want to know: did you wear the neon outfit after all?

Nope...I figured I'd sweat with those stockings. So I wore the dress my husband bought me for my 30th birthday (back before I ever got pregnant and was a couple of sizes smaller)

I look a little pregnant in the picture below (and really pregnant in a different picture), but what the hell - people are always nicer to people when they think they are pregnant! Smile

The fancy rubber gloves were a birthday present. I think I'll wear them, the next time I wash windows.

The dress is by Tone Barker and is silk jersey. I wore the orange and yellow Fluevogs with it (and no stockings)

Fantastic dress!

How are fluevogs width wise? I'd really like to order a pair for Krads stepbrothers wedding, but with wide feet anyway, plus pregnancy swelling.. well, you get the idea!! (handbag will be large enough for emergency flipflops though!!)

Fluevogs have plenty of room for toes, but are in general quite narrow. I've got narrow feet and in particular narrow heels and they fit me perfectly.

I think I shall have to track some down over here to try them on!

The sushi looks awesome by the way.. Is that black rice in the roll on the plate nearest the camera? Perfect celebration by the sound sof it!

Penne pasta with chicken, onions and mushrooms. Mmm, very earthy.

Dodging tofu in a snap pea, onion, caper and kalamata salad.
