I know. I forgive you, Arkan.

Tonight I went to the Story Bridge Hotel and ate chips with Diane sauce.

That, too, was decadent.

Interesting... in Portuguese this kind of salt is called "sal de churrasco" (barbecue salt) or "sal grosso"...

Leftover risotto milanese, osso buco, and a bite and a half of garlic sautéed broccoli raab. Supplemented with a few of the small biscuits I made for breakfast yesterday.

Now I want a nice glass of red! but not a good idea at lunch.

Not today but saturday. Mom didn't want to cook so she sent me out to Ruebans Cubans for ... Cubans.

For you yankees, canadians, and general miscreants who don't know this is a Cuban. Cuban's (the people not the sandwich) moved here in masse in 1885 when the cigar industry moved here from Key West. They brought their rich culture of food, music, and communism with them. I gorged on good spanish bean soup (Potato, Sausage, and Garbonzo beans in a spicy chicken broth, it has to be a couple of days old to really be good), a fat deviled crab, and a huge cuban made with fresh cuban bread and pressed so the cheese and pork fat melted together a little.

The WGB has broken my brain. I saw the word Mom and for a second, just for a second, I thought you were talking about MOM.
