Too much baking powder, not enought sugar. Sugar is what makes them crunchy.

Water. More water in the mix will make them crunchy.

Actually, the reverse is true. You need to compensate with more butter, as well, otherwise they will become tactical throwing cookies.

I don't use any water.
The problem is baking powder and sugar.

I decreased the amount of sugar, because of my cousin who has diabetes.

This is how I do (I should take pictures and put it in the cooking school):

Approximately 200g of flour
A pinch of salt.
Vanilla sugar (one dose)
Baking powder (half a dose)
Around 75g of sugar.
Mix all that with two eggs.
Add melted butter, until the mix has the right texture.
Pour chocolate chips and nuts as much as you want.

The cooking is up to you.

'twas about time this thread changed pages. I'm with crash: butter and suger lead to crunchyness. Water in cookies is wrong.
I'm not eating yet. Thinking of going to an Indian restaurant. Or something

Both Indian Corner on Nørrebrogade and B'India on Blegdamsvej 130 are quite good. You get a bindia you can stick on your forehead after eating at B'India!

Or try out Wascator at Refsnæsgade. Mainly organic café food at low prices. 5 coffee cups in Politiken.

I'd love to talk my husband into going out for dinner tonight, but I can't sit down for that long....

I just want to say for the record that I love Indian food.

Thank you.

And am very happy that I found a GREAT Japanese restaurant right next to my work and gym. Best post workout food, evah!

To heck with the ibuprofen, try some hydrocodone. Washed down with some cheap wine it makes a perfect compliment to a light scab salad.

I really do think lithos knows that.

Or am I getting too cynical?

Ugh, hydrocodone makes me nauseous and gives me wicked pipe dreams when I shut my eyes. I much prefer vicodin, which just kind of...removes everything unpleasant from your sensorium. Worked wonders when I was on tour and everyone (else) in the band started to argue, plus I kept throwing my back out loading, unloading, and attempting to approximate the perfect Pete Townshend leap/windmill.

Better today, anyway.

Never had any problems with hydrocodone myself (having only used it for maybe a week after a surgery). WHat you wanna stay away from is a weeklong morphine binge. That will mess you up. I could feel the tips of my hair... and they hurt, a lot.

So we went to a Persian restaurant instead. Totally sweet. The whole place was decorated by hand by the owner and his friends.
The food was good too.

*LOL* I used to want a bedazzler. But I was, like, in 6th grade.

Man, that jacket is hideous. I usually loathe any clothing with the American flag imprinted on it. But an American flag bedazzled on there in plastic gems? *pretends to vomit*
