Glad to hear it all turned out OK, Gromit. In many ways alone is probably one of the less annoying ways to do the time, though...

But the real question is: will the evil terrorists who launched this cowardly attack on your nation's elevators be brought to justice?

Let us know if you need anything blown up. We're here for you.

To be honest, it was irritating rather than dramatic. I had my phone with me, so I was able to call my firm's reception to tell them I was stuck (I hit the lift's emergency button, which rang a bell but didn't achieve anything else).
...

I've done that.

Eh - just think "What would Crocodile Dundee do?" use your huge bush knife to open the roof hatch (Hollywood has taught me that ALL elevators have roof hatches) and then use your belt to swing over to the door.

I used the elevator at my high school once, it had an emergency phone in it. I picked it up justto see what happened and got a dial tone. I called my home number to ... well just to see I guess. My dad answered and I hung up on him. Smile

A cumulation of one year of hard work - The third GTA IV trailer is being release today at 3:00 Eastern Standard Time on the official site. A LOT of my scenes are in the one.

I'm tired. Coffee isn't doing it for me.

Thanks guys. It would mean a lot because I have been living, relatively, in a bubble for the last year and missed out on a lot of good WGB times (the London meet - DAMN! Paris...DAMN!).

Hopefully, it will be some small compensation. I guess there is always next year.

Why is Wanderer not playing TF2?!?

He doesn't have the Orange Box, and is not sure it's going to run properly on his computer.

Excuses, excuses... he's just afraid he's going to suck at it Smile

Had a 30 minute lie in and blamed being late to work on the traffic.
Meeting that was making me work tomorrow has been cancelled, but they want me in any way for something else.. boo & hiss. (I normally only work monday - thurs as that was all we got funding for!)

As I was going to be late anyway, I didn't over rush to work, and evens topped and got a honey bran muffin and latte on the way in. Yum!

Lost enough weight (about 12lb so far) that my favourite trousers are too big, so hang very low on my hips and make legs longer.. managed to trip over one of the legs this morning!! But thats a good thing! Liking some weight loss, so I think I will take the plunge, sod the cash, and join the local swimming pool / gym over the weekend.

Busted a shoplifter in the store I work nights at. Not the first time he's tried to steal random shit while I was working. Called him on it the first time; wasn't having it this time. Cops showed up and asked for his ID and the kid tried to run. GG, resisting arrest on top of your shoplifting charge kid. Watching this 6'3", 225 cop tackle a 6'0" 150lb loser was the highlight. He whined like a bitch.

Whoop, that was supposed to be an edit!

You're a security guard, or just overzealous?

Well, it's been an exciting 24 hours for some. Congrats and commiserations as appropriate.

For my part, all I got was low-level hassle too trivial to bore you with.

Just a lowly clerk. Certain deductions reveal that this guy has been lifting stuff for quite a while. Was time to put the clamp down on that.

Please don't encourage me. The hassles are simply multiplying, not resolving, and I might be tempted to embarrass myself by revealing how small an irritation can light my rather short fuse. GaaaaaHHH! Ah, that's better.
