Someone stole my ID card holder while I was in theatre! They left the badge, but nabbed the plastic case it was in.

Awww, thanks.... Smile I hope I'm the shotglass.

Seek no link between you two and those glasses (except for the origin of the beer), it was just a toast.
See, if I can be nice AND have a good beer at the same time...

Just a machine telling you to use their website.

That's because the government is constitutionally prohibited from outsourcing its help lines to India. For now.

Any way, Canadia is an officially bilingual country, and most Indians do not speak French.

For now.

I've had quite the busy day, for me anyway. I rose around 12:30pm, ran a shit load of errands. Went to the library (which is cheaper than the bookstore usually). I did some Xmas shopping, although I only ended up buying stuff for me. I bought a new office chair and assembled it.

Now I'm relaxing with a glass of wonderful french wine and watching Monday Night Football. Ahh.

Compared to Tokyo, nah.. Compared to everywhere else?? Yes! *laughing*

And, as an American, it would probably be harder for you to get a work visa here than in Belguim, though, obviously, Wanderer has teh freedom to live and work here under the EU stuff..

I don't know what it is exactly, but there is something about that guy that just.... annoys me.

And it's not just his actions as mayor.

Fecking City Link couriers scheduled delivery of my nippers Xmas present (LCd TV) for today, then turned up at 6pm yesterday. Guess who answered the door!

I always check when ordering something that the company do NOT use city link. They are beyond useless.

We have a city link depot a 10 - 15 minute drive away, which I pass on my way home fromw ork. But, they insist we collect any missed parcels from their depot an hour away, outside of London. And no madam, its more than our job is worth to send it to our other depot so you can collect it OK.

The bastards. It was ordered from eBuyer.com who I've used a number of times and they always use City Link. Our nearest depot is 45 mins away and real pain to get to. Mrs Bic had arranged to stay at home today, as well!!

Oh, well. We played along and the driver was most apologetic - we stated it was for a job I was doing - I fix alot of IT kit and often have it hardware around the. Bundled it into the garage, then my van and into work within the hour, but I think my son twigged on. He's playing along, but I'm mad because the surprise element has now gone. Gah.
