had a really nice laid back day off. slept in, spent the morning with the family, then had a nap (oh the luxury).
took my sisters into town to get Mom's Day stuff, then we were all so excited about what we got that we gave it to her at dinner tonight... Smile

Held in a fart for about twenty minutes while the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee was speaking.

Two minutes ago, I was sitting here quietly reading the board, laughing at BlueShift and explaining the difference between the NGB and the WGB to my sisters.
and then there was a horrible crash and a scream from the vicinity of the main family bathroom.
the four of us (three younger sisters and myself) leapt for the noise, shouting "what happened!" and "ohmigawd" and "HOLY CRAP!"
we stumbled into each other at the door of the bathroom, where a strange sight met our eyes.
it seems that our brothers (8 and 4 years old) were getting ready for bed, and 8-year-old discovered that there was no toothpaste in the tube.
so he went to the very tall cupboard and pulled himself up onto the base.
and it fell.
he threw himself out of the way, and the cupboard landed half-in the bathtub. 4-year-old was on the other side of the crash site.
when we arrived at the door, we had no idea what had happened, and they were both freaking out...
scary moments!
everyone was fine, and nothing broke when it fell. getting the cupboard back up took a bit of manouvering! but it worked, and it all is fine.
my heart is beating like crazy though!

One doesn't judge a man's bravery by his sphincter any more that one judges a man's moral rectitude by showing him pornography and gauging his erection.

But 20 minutes? Let it be known that the man has a steel rectum.

What better time to give a memorable performance?

Christ, with a sphincter like that, I'm sure you'd do well in prison.

Don't bother asking, because I'm not sure if that's a compliment either.

You couldn't sidle up to him, post-speech, drop it, and then immediately throw on a look of disgust in his direction, could you? Works every time for me.

No woman will be impressed. We can go entire weekends when in a new relationship Wink

10 years later though, we deliberately save them for when walking past our partner.. Big Grin

I'd be more impressed if it said "until" instead of "while" Smile

Jeez Blue, you haven't mastered the art of the SBD yet?

Of course the anti terror stuff may be able to detect the sources of silent gasses.

I'm just saying such a technical capability would have real uses.

I got my 'official' grades from last semester yesterday. I thought I was getting three A's and a B.

In fact I got three A's and an A+. I am not sure how I miscalculated but I won't file a complaint Big Grin

Still kind of on a holiday from the web so I will get moving. I have to get some hamburger and brats, tomorrow I am committed to grilling at my parents for the moms in my family.

This helps lift my GPA at least. Lets just say as I younger man I was a less attentive student.

I just checked my roster for th summer classes. I had heard about the dropping enrollment of males in college but every single class I have had or will have it seems is about 70% female. Is this normal all over?

Its the result of a generation of chemical exsposure. Soon male children will be as rare as identical twins.

That'll work. China's producing nothing but males. Twenty years from now, China will be the testosterone capital of the world and we'll have a huge crop of young women. We can work something out.

Most of the white males drop out once they've been educated enough to realise they're the source of all the problems in the world.
