Arggh! One of my Alesis M1Active MKII monitors winked out. Looks like a power supply issue. Its been more than 30-days, so I have to wrestle with the manufacuter on the day before a US 3-day bank holiday.

I'm trying to decide on either Hancock or Wanted this weekend. Maybe both?

The working diagnosis is now glandular fever or in americanese acute mono/Epstein-Barr. He is stuck in for the weekend for liver tests since it has been affected.

I am about to finish packing and tidying and then lock up the cat. I'll go to the hospital and then off to the rendezvous point.

Glandular Fever sucks.. I hope he fights the virus quickly. Atleast youk now he'll be fed while you're away!

May I advise against an MG airplane? Breaking down in the sky is much worse than on the road.

I had to walk the last part of the way home tonight - local kid got hit by a car during some horseplay as they all got off the school bus. Didn't look good, as the medevac chopper was just preparing to take off when I arrived and the police are examining the road and the car that hit him *very* carefully. Things like that really aren't the best way to start a weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed the kid makes it.
