When I did see Alexis I pointed the girl out and told her our dinner was off. Tonight my gf walks into a bar and winds up right next to Alexis, who recognized her and started giving her a lot of attitude. I came and saved her from Alexis and said hello. All I got in return was the "Fuck off and die" glare from Alexis. I am trying to figure out how she can be so pissy when we never even dated.

You'll never find sane women, but that's not the problem. You're acting too sane. A little crazyness gets a lot of respect. Walk into the bar with a lawn and leaf bag stuffed inyour back pocket, pull out a measuring tape and start measuring her. Carefully. Shoulder to elbow. Elbow to wrist, and so on.

Just got home and have had to reorganize my ipod . Now I am exhausted, bleary eyed and thinking about eating that pizza I brought home from lunch at Mello Mushroom today.

I am also thinking about calling Alexis.

now how is THAT for insane?

Pretty looney tunes, all right.

Do it. We live for complications, when we stop fussing about how annoying they are.

And.

Its 7th July.

3 years since 7th July 2005 and the London tube bombs. 3 years seems such a short time, but it feels like half a life tme has passed since that day. One of the worst days of my life, which I guess is east to understand.. but, also a positive.. A friend reminded me this morning how I have made soe really nice friendships because of that day, and how the weeks and onths after bought us together.. I, with these friends and others, raised £17,000 for the bomb relief fund 2 months later by travelling the entire tube network in one day.. And some of those friendships have made a fairly big impact on my life.. It got me addicted to flickr for one!!

I just remember thinking that, 'this is really going to piss off the British' which probably wasn't the reaction the bombers were going for.

It is odd how we see events like that in our mind. I had no connection to anybody at world trade, I have never even been to New York but I remember exactly where I was that morning, who was there, what they said, who cried, who was angry. All of it. My mother and father can still tell you where when they heard that JFK was dead. I can only imagine how much of an effect those kind of events have when they directly impact you life somehow.

of course, boards like this change these events as well, because now you do know people in these cities, and there is always that concern for people there that makes it more personl.

though certainly, with london as well as board members, my dad was there that day and i certainly remember sitting reading first reports on bbc and switching back here.

Last weekend, I found out that I am allergic to the countryside.
Or something like that...

After a few hours far from the city, my nose starts running.

I'm back in Paris, and doing a lot better now.

Did nature attack you?

Nature attacked me.

It punched me in the face, and ran away with all my money.

Returning from a very pleasant weekend away with friends and family a couple of hours drive from home, we passed a farm with a fateful sign on the gate: 'Free Border Collie Pups'. We now have two dogs. Pix to come.

Actually saw a one-armed cab driver today.

Didn't want to ask if he had crabs.

which arm did he have? I'm imaging some issues with a left arm in a brit car.

My aunt is paralyzed on her left side and refuses to drive an automatic. That means she uses her right hand for steering, shifting, drinking from her cup of iced tea, flipping off other drivers, and scolding her passengers for sitting terrified in the back seat.
