Happy birthday, Trog-of-the-future.

Of course, now there's going to be all sorts of
continuity errors, so we'll have to end up
retconning him. Poor guy.

Only had his right arm. All the cabs here are autos, but still, I imagine parking must be a bitch. And he didn't have a big enough gut to steer with, truckie-style.

Hence the phrase, "as busy as a one-armed cab driver with crabs."

Right now listening to Bruce Springsteen live at Valle Hovin stadium -- wafted to me in my apartment for free, courtesy of a summer wind-- tomorrow we have tickets! Yay!

^ Congrats!

Went mountain biking yesterday. Forgot my water bottle and then almost hit a cow at 15mph. Watching it flee down the trail with hooves flailing about a foot in front of my tire was quite exciting. And I was praying really hard that it didn't try and escape squid-style in a cloud of manure. Good times!

Today I managed to hack through the jungle of CSS to about 90% functional CSS menus and template layout for our future Joomla site.

Also, my wearscience.com t-shirts arrived. I am now trying to decide whether to wear the "Dino BBQ" or the "Giant Rock Robot" one to work tomorrow. Big Grin

Good.

Now tell him no more of this bleak liver stuff (or whatever it was called). Broken foot, toothache, cold, flu... fine. Just no more of the difficult to diagnose, pronounce or cure stuff.

Hope he stays better. That sounded scary.

Dino BBQ-

Congrats, on breaking hubby free-

I'm pushing flash in to my brain at work- They have this weird uni program that we can access to, it offered flash as course- It is pretty easy from what I've learned from photoshop it will help me with the some future projects-

Mundane thought of the day-

Celebrated a good friend's wedding, with dinner in a very fancy restaurant.

Best food I ever had.

So jealous. Yesterday I was seduced by a menu into a restaurant in Lille that overcooked my foie gras de canard (I nearly wept) and encouraged me to change my wine and food choices to utterly fucking banal chicken and a red wine so crap they must have an agreement to sell it only to tourists.

Frown

Glad you had a good meal though.

Smile can't wait to see it!

i've been at work for 2 hours and haven't taken a call yet. which is good, as i do not feel prepared to take a call on this contract, despite 3 weeks of training (which was going over processes that everyone on the floor doesn't actually ever use).

Been terribly sick....still sick. Internet was down, finally got back up today. Sick. Coughing. Nose and fever issues. Scratching. Bad stuff. Slightly high on drugs. Wanderer getting me soup from Chinese restaurant.

TM, I'm remixing that song and I'll email it to you as soon as I can. Which will probably be tomorrow.

Happy Trogday and belated 4th of July.

Time to pass out again. Feeling weak. Hope everyone is doing well.
