Yesterday, I went to my cousin's shop and got my hair cut.

Afterwards, I joined a few friends at Le Pavillon, where I had a 'Coll Martini' and an 'Archangel'.
This place has the best cocktail names, I swear Smile

when you go in and they have a cocktail called remote, and they are a bit blurry about its actual contents then we know its true!

email I just got from a friend. The friend is himself quite the gun 'enthusiast' he works for a level 3 gun dealer who does work on automatic weapons and other really cool shit. I have a hard time buying that he sat next to this guy for so long without the topic coming up.

I see nothing in that report that says he wasn't chopping up hookers. Maybe they ran out of room!

He could have been pulverizing them with a storm of lead with all the firepower they found.

Woke up at five AM, read Chandler and generally shagged around for four hours, then went downstairs to make breakfast.

It was as cold as half of Fiona Horne's rack, so I put some coffee on, flicked on the TV, tuned it to Rage, and they play The Living End's Prisoner Of Society.

The coffee, the music, and the cold triggered a minor flashback. And, you know what, it was all right.

Today is a good day.

Awesome to hear, for sure. And not that dissimilar to my morning, except that mine involved storming Chernobyl.

But, as one of only about 3 people here likely to get it, definitely a smirk for 'half of Fiona Horne's rack'.

Not a lot - went to the markets this morning for fruit, veg and fish, came home feeling a bit crook and had a nap. Just got up, and getting ready for a bit of a Dr Who marathon this evening. Kind of a boring day, but the rest I needed.

My son's boss was in Yellowstone, so my boy got to run his first fireworks display. It was for the local 24-hour cancer walkathon, and it was a pretty large display. He had a crew of five.

He was magnificent. Some sort of cannon array went off on the ground. Looked dangerous and disastrous but Jon kept his cool, protected his crew and there was never even a gap in the show.

Proud of that kid.

In other news, it's no fun to be extremely horny and have a cold.

My flatmate's in his room watching Juno with his 16-year-old girlfriend.

This is some MC-Escheresque shit right there.

This will not end well for all concerned.
