I feel lucky that I don't have the infant thing to deal with. The two year old is enough of a handful.

They aren't... they are moving to a house right on the border so it isn't an issue. The line between the US and Canada will bisect the bedroom, it is still undecided who gets the bathroom but Minx will kill my boy for the kitchen.

he's been trying since April Big Grin

ETA: Work visa, for now...he said if it takes much longer though he'll just apply for permanent residency. Which is good, as I don't know how good my chances of getting my green card back would be.

Edit, property tax would be kinda tricky, don't you think? Razz

That's sort of the opposite of the truth. The easy part is the pregnancy. I remember worriedly asking people, "how bad is it changing diapers?" as I had never done that. They answered. "Dude that will be the least of your worries."

They were totally right.

For a start Shake, not to be rude, but I'm guessing you've never actually been heavily pregnant.. and I was teasing.. Like, the running joke at the moment in my real life is I swear I will get more sleep once he arrives than I am the moment (eg, surely he can't wake up as often as my bladder wakes me up?? *lol*)

I'm actually finding it a little tough at the moment, and humour is keeping me sane! Smile

I tried to work out a little bit today and the dern bronchitis killed me.

This sucks, I feel so freaking lazy.

Now I have to go stand around the bar, not smoking, and try not to hack up something yucky.

You're right on that one. I'm going by my wife's words. She said the pregnancy and birth was actually the easy part, and she had a tough birth, episeotomy and emergency C section after some 16 hours of labor. Picked up a case of colostridium difficile form all the antibiotics. The work really is just beginning.
