There are so many commercials when Ugly Betty airs in the US that we tape it so as not to lose the momentum. We had most of the second season on tape and watched it in two four-hour gulps.

Uggs, when worn without socks, apparently keep your feet a neutral temp.. cool when its hot.. warm when its cold. I'm really being led astray here..

I'm watching Ugly Betty on our TV on demand system.. means no ad breaks, all of series 1 and 2 (watching the final 6 eps of series 2 I've not seen yet), but downside is.. I'm paying 99p an episode Frown

We download our UB fix. All the fun, none of the crap.

Now, re the neutral temp malarky, there is no way I would wear these sumbitches on a nice sunny warm day, esp, say, on a Mississippi day in July. I don't care what anyone says about wool wicking and blah de blah, these mofos would be HOT like Jonathan Rhys Meyers. That is a pack of lies demanding a flipflop beatdown and a ticket from the FashPo. But uggs are grand when the weather is like, well, now.

Honestly, okay, seriously, I got them for the reason that they were MADE for which is to wear apres surf when the water is cold and the weather chilly out (because my feet were icicles in Spain and I'm going back soon innit). And I was like, "oh well I'll just wear them around our crappily insulated house, too." My mistake! Because now I'm in a co-dependent relationship with them.

Job interview tomorrow...

Fingers crossed 24 hours in advance. A brown 7 days candle lit. Alguidá with omalá, honey, bananas (dozen), six cigars + matches box + 3 white cloves + 3 red cloves + 1 stout beer. The "obrigação" over a white towel. Kawô Kabiesilê

MrsK: We'll be catching up with you soon. We just did S2E6 I think.

JRM I think is the hottest man ever ever in the history of the entire human genetic gene pool. It's all downhill from here.

Today I am going to go to an emag lecture. And it's my mom's bday so I'd like to get around to posting her a package of some sort.

Pulling together assets for a music video into a repository. I came across a live performance of Chris "Robot Girl" Cunningham whilst scouring the mediaspace for ingredients to throw into the brain batter. He's the man! Here he's slicing and weaving together his raw sources (several recognizable clips, most notably from Come To Daddy) with a slew of Aphex with Squarepusher leavening for good measure.

I think I like the Brazilian job application process better than the Australian one.

In the Haitian one you get to kill a goat.

Then bring it back to life as a zombie.

Sounds like something out of an Ian McDonald novel.

I missed an appointment with a professor today. I had thought that I had one but completely forgot to put it in my calender.

Ha! I'm hell on zombies. I may have mentioned that before. Some may say it is a useless talent (like my wife), but I'll take what I can get.

I haven't met your wife, so I can't comment on how useless a talent she is.

He's an alcoholic, you don't want to be in a co-dependent relationship with an alcoholic. They are likely to drink all your mouthwash, and then where will you be?

Huh? Where will you be with no-mouthwash ion the red carpet when Johnny's to bombed to answer Joan River's question about his "to-die for baby blues" and you lean in to answer her but she smells that breath and insults you and by this time you have lost track of Johnny and he's fallen over behind you and is laying in his own puke?

didn't think about that, did you, smart guy?
