Picked up a dryer from in front of a tradie mall.

Tonight, we fixed it.

It had lint on the elements, so it smelled like smoke. Because the lint was burning, of course.

So, tonight, we tore it down, and cleaned it out, and fixed it.

And now again we have a dryer!

Haha! Thanks. Yeah, the Palin has been the best thing on SNL in a long long time.

Voting in T-minus 45 minutes!

Kitsune, I am slow: it is not a dress for a wedding, but a wedding dress we are talking about?

(and that was a How To Cook For Your Husband course?)
:-)

Woke up at 4.30am with the radio saying it was all over. Beginning to feel a little drowsy now.

it was 9pm when Obama started his speech last night, so i got to hear/watch the whole thing as Twi and i IM'ed back and forth.
well actually during the speech i was sitting on my bed with teary eyes and a huge grin, listening hard.
as i said last night in the election thread,
quote:
the President of the United States is the skinny black kid with the funny name from Hawaii.
and i am so proud to say "My boyfriend voted for Obama."
congratulations, America.

It's a wedding dress. Actually the husband to be does all the cooking and I take care of all the laundry.

It was the Advanced Life Support course (W00t. Intubation.) and looking at the registration form, I'm pretty sure now that I sent it off, but I emailed to check anyway.

ugghh work all day today. I crashed last night at the girls house. We though her mother was going to work in the moring so when we got up we behaved..... well, as if we though nobody could hear us.

Turns out mom didn't work today and we woke her up.

She was not pleased.

It not my fault she hasn't had sex since the 90's.

Working at the bar tonight and then tomorrow all day HOUSE HUNTING! YAY!

The only two things I like to shop for are cars and houses!

I spend most of the day trying to transfer very old cassette tape recordings to my pc. Something I planned to do for, well, years. Got most of it.

Of course, now I also have to edit the stuff. Roll Eyes

I should do this, too.
It looks like I've taken the other option: waiting for so long that there will be no recordable signal left at all on the tapes, hence no need to bother about all this...
