That's my problem. I'm only a halfway asshole. So I'll do the "right" thing and bitch about it.

That was my point. If I believed in God, I might think that there was a reward for me in heaven.

Heaven, which I imagine as some kind of big, dirty Wal-Mart where you have x amount of store credit, depending on how good you were, and whether you killed any infidels on Earth.

Spent Tuesday with an awesome girl from St. Louis. Intelligent, attractive, fun to spend time with, all that. She was visiting her father in San Antonio when I met her online. We hit it off and I suggested she come down to Corpus and let me show her around; she agreed. Spent the day together, learned a lot about her.

Downside: Not sure if everything is truth. She's wealthy, has a pet emu. Friends were supposed to take care of it. It got sick and passed away the same night she left here. I learned that fact tonight; she said she was already back in St. Louis. Wasn't supposed to go back til Friday. And I'm wondering how she got back so quickly... because she was posting blog comments back and forth with a friend on Myspace for a good part of the afternoon.

Long story short: I'm not particularly fond of people who lie. Small embellishment of truth I can handle. Everyone does that. But lying makes me grate my teeth. And now.. I just don't know anymore. And it hurts. *sigh* I'm the sort of person who wants to accept things. But in the face of pretty concrete evidence, even I'm occasionally forced to accept.

Run like hell, dude. She might be related to Vanilla Ice.

Seriously, I'd stay the fuck away from internet relationships.

They don't like being chased with quadrunners, either.

Just to satisfy my curiosity, what species enjoys being chased with quads?

Yeah, I'd also advise avoiding internet relationships (says the person who agreed to meet random strangers because they happened to post on the same author's board.)

Internet relationships are okay to me (provided you enjoy the person when you meet in meatspace).

But lies, man...
Make sure the other person is telling the truth.
And if it's not the case, tell her that you have a problem with that.
See wat happens.

Damn those internet people!

Eh, I suppose. I just know a lot of people who have had trouble maintaining those kind if long distance relationships.
