Seriously, I knew that it was probably just a case of me not being up to date on this thread.

Misty Jr. Should write a children's book.

No plot. No story. Just verses like,

"wanders about near the spiderwebs and tramples on the sunflowers."

Suitably illistrated, you're looking at some major awards there.

thing is she could write a cracker complete with plot.

my day was funny, i had a geriatric customer (not that there's anything wrong with that) take a shine to me and then get dark when i said i couldn't have lunch with him or meet him after work next week. and he called me a cheeky girl. he also told me about his bank teller who calls him sweetheart and that his wife doesn't. i told my manager (just in case) but he then told the rest of the boys and insisted on calling me cheeky for the rest of the day. i don't actually mind the boys knowing, again just in case.

She's high value.

Splendid.

I'll pick a song and post it for her.

Got in trouble I think, with "the talent" at work. I'm a security officer at an indian casino. And while posted at the lounge tonight I may have put my foot in my mouth. We've been cursed by a glorified karaoke band for over two weeks now. They dress like silly pimps 'n hos, and sometimes lip sync and sometimes sing live. Most of the instruments are pre-recorded. During a break, the guy who pretends to play guitar was re-entering the lounge and the following exchange occured. pimp#2 "I'm with the band, unless you don't want to let me in." me: "I probably don't want to hear any more disko." pimp#2: "you think you don't want to hear it, I've been doing this shit for fifteen years." me: "so why don't you start a real band?" pimp#2 "whaddya mean a real band?" So he complained that I was rude. Shoulda kept my yap shut.

Yeah, I'd rather a CD of muzak than a "live" "band." At least it's easier to tune out.

You could always tell them you're on edge because you've just discovered you're gay, and your friends and family have been less than supportive, and do they have something against gay people? Because a policy of homophobia could really damage a place or person's reputation.

Works for me.

It'll be fine as long as no one imagines me dancing to it.

Argh! Now I have to scour my brain with soap.

And it was such a nice song.

I'm worried that split is going to offer the punchline soon:

"I'm working for the TSA."

Then I'll just have to go see if there is a cabin up in the North woods where I can hang out until civilization finishes collapsing.

Now, I'm just going to go pack up my cast iron fry-pan, and study up on how to stew a 'possum.

Some dickweed ran around the entire riverview area last night and egged everything- Streets, houses, mailboxes, RV's, cars- One very new car as a matter a fact right on the hood- I was able to tell those on my route that someone had done the deed to their car- Those who where awake, the rest i just left note since the seemed to get mostly the back of cars- It must have happened well before I started my route-

Some people have some mad karma coming their way- Tsunami sized-

On good note my rate just went up- For us paper ninja that is pretty much a raise- Big Grin

actually, apparently some of the councils in england have been courting the polish vote, since there has been such an influx of poles to the UK since the borders were opened to them.

today. everyday on my way to work i pass this church, noticed during the week that they had a spring fair on today - see photo in bleak thread- so after posting that picture i headed out to see how it was. despite saying they closed at 1, they obviously weren't expecting people to turn up at 12.30. looked like they were clearing the book stall away, and what they had wasn't up to much. though got some nice lemon iced short-bread biscuits, and just had one with a cup of tea.

wandered round the town centre for a bit, its a bit of a dead place, too near glasgow for its own good. so a lot of closed shops, charity shops, and the like. still, it was busy, and seemed like most of the poltical parties were out campaigning.

was glad not to get a parking ticket, the meter was out of order, the next one along ate my money but didn't give me a ticket. left a note. caught a couple wardens on there way to my car, asked them about it, they said note was fine. but hey, not like we are going to entirely trust traffic wardens now is it?

While just searching for the halibut, found the exact kind of bike I want for about 2 grand cheaper than market prices. Rang the guy and he said someone else was coming to see it at 1. I decided that, unless he rang back, we'd go and see it at 2. It was about 2 hours drive north of here, at the Sunshine Coast, so we went up as a family and went to Underwater World while we were waiting. Got the call while watching the otters being fed that the other guy had put a deposit on it - unsurprising given that it was a major steal. Still, we had a great day on the Sunshine Coast, eating at a cafe on the wharf, then came back and had dinner with Sue's nephew and his partner, and ended up discussing philosophy in a conversation that included our kids.

Aren't the Irish pissed about losing their monopoly on the Stereotypically Stupid Ethnic Minority industry?

Hi, don't have the time to read anything or listen to your music, but in general the links seem to work and your fucked-up imagery seems to load as it should. It really pleases me to see your ultra-pixelated minotaur, from someone as young as you. That the genre doesn't only appeal to us old 80's nostalgics, but also some crazy Hawaiian boy.

The start page layout is fantastic! I really like it!
