omg!

my girl was just playing her DS, with her cousin watching over her shoulder. something happened and she said "fuck it to hell"!

it's not something she's heard much from us.

i had a private chuckle. she's growing up.

The start page layout is fantastic! I really like it!

Thanks!

Well you know I got my Nintendo when I was five. Wink

Is that you doing the vocals? You've got a nice smooth voice! (When you're not screaming...)

my daughter and niece slept in the tent in the backyard last night. it rained which made it all so much more remote feeling i think. they came booming into the house ten minutes ago all puffed up.

Found a (very angry) rejoinder to my response to a review of my book, in which I was roundly slapped for 'dancing and playing about' with the serious issues of science education research. They still missed my point entirely, but the really fun thing is the rolling profundity - not to say redundancy - of their writing style: http://edrev.asu.edu/essays/v10n4.pdf

And sloppy, sloppy editing... "old fashion" instead of "old fashioned," "pubic" when they obviously mean "public."

Oh, yes, and thoroughly overwrought.

Thank you for posting that link. Looking it over gave me the most vivid feeling of being a meatball, attempting to read my way out of a plate of spaghetti. You don't usually get to have those kinds of experiences without taking some very serious psychoactive substances.

And, dude, you should be embarrassed. You're totally "misunderstood by the pubic." I can't help but imagine that can put a hamper on a fella's love life.

Looks like it... well, to the extent that they'll go for it with me. All the signs are positive, the money is great, it would basically put me 7-10 years ahead of where I am now in my career in a single leap, and I think we've worked out a way to make it happen that doesn't involve Suzie changing jobs or the girls changing schools... in fact shortens all their commutes and only marginally increases mine... I feel like a bit of a slut, having only just taken on my current job... but the new one is just too damn hot.

Bigend? I recommend a reduction in simple carbohydrates and an ambitious regimen of cardiovascular exercise.
