Thank you, kind sir.

I have a similar biorhythm, if your "bike" means motorcyle. And whenever it comes on, I feel that I have to have one, like, yesterday!

Then I get on my bicycle and say "vroom" and the impulse subsides. Pathetic really.

whats the deal with chickenpox?
was sitting at friends the other night, and she suddenly remembered her boyfriend's boss's kids had chickenpox and asked whether i had had them. i have, twice i seem to recall, which is a bit baffling.
in theory i guess i'm ok, but i guess this means i should avoid my sister's kids (3months + 2 years) for a bit?

anyway. last hour of working week. fucking bored shitless. argh!

Once you've had it you shouldn't get it again.

But having had chickenpox means you are able to contract shingles.

I had chickenpox as an adult. Not a lot of fun.

i'm sure i had it as a kid then again in my early teens, which came as a surprise, since everyone said you could only get it once.

damn. getting itchy even talking about it!

yeah i caught chicken pox off my girl a few years ago. it was awful. hundreds and hundreds of em. oat & peppermint baths helped a bit. remote - they say you can't get em again, but the woman at the fruit shop has had em 3 times. consider being careful with the kids, because maybe it's about your inability to build up a full immunity.

Closing a loan in an hour that is bittersweet. my best friend and his wife are divorcing after 7 years of marriage. he is keeping the house and she demanded a large payoff to not try to take half his retirement account. she has delayed the closing before because she wanted more money. her point is that he is keeping the house and will ultimately profit from its sale. His point is that he is also keeping all the cost for the upkeep of the home, taxes, and other fees and besides she was unfaithful and he wasn't. They both failed to follow my advice to avoid making their divorce about money.

I will just be glad it is done. He has a new girl. She is a Georgia peach, covered in tatts and loud as hell. I like her. She told me the other night that she didn't know my friends ex but, "...she is one stupid bitch to let that man get away. I am holding onto him with all my strength!"

Meanwhile I hear his ex is in something of a shame spiral. She also stopped talking to me so this will be the first time in a month I have spoken with her. She convinced herself that I was trying to help her ex steal money from her.

I can't tell if my computer is running slow this morning, or if I've just had too much coffee.

I discovered a small jar in the kitchen which appeared to be full of dirt. On closer inspection it was "edible simulated dirt and bugs" marketed as some sort of fun treat. I stood there and thought to myself, This is it. Corporate America is training my children to live in a post-apocalyptic world.

Then I watched the Heroes season finale.
