you might want to consider that if the lint

inexpensive fix (to do yourself).

You need yourself some big, hefty work boots. Charma can hook you up.

Man, am I wrong in assuming that $100AU is too much to pay for decent jeans?

Free time on the internet again. Great fun. Trawled the "Gibsonian" thread from beginning to end.

The machine which gives you free time is easy to spot. It's the one with the "Back" button dimmed. Gives me a slightly hysterical sense of being able to surf the universe with "No going Back".

A real shame to log off, but I have work to do, no rest for the wicked, you know, even on a Saturday night. Must be proof of reincarnation, I know I haven't done anything wicked enough in this life to deserve this.

Too busy working.

Real busy day.

I woke-up at 3;00 AM with what I thought was appendicitis. Then I remembered eating this Portoguese Chourico Burrito late last night, and realized it was probably monster indigestion.

I changed the oil in my ride. Hot oil always sluices over my hand, causing me to drop the slightly less hot metal plug into the dark murky catch pan. Sunday night, I'll commit economic terrorism and leave the jug of waste oil on the fron step of a garage tha overcharges me for repairs I can't do myself.

Rebuilt the bog in my flat for my landlord. He lets me go overdue on the rent in return for repairs. He's Indian, a nice fellow, but really has two thumbs on each hand. He explained that back in Karela, there were servants, and a wallah to rebuild the bog. Here, the wallahs are very expensive. I guess I'm a Bog-Wallah.

Its an easy job, however I'm always afraid of getting a staph infection that is resistant to super drugs and results on amutation.

I'm running diagnostics on my computer right now, before going to a BBQ. I'm bringing two very green tasting NZ Reislings and no food. There are supposed to be at least two newly divorced women there tonight. I think I'll shave.

Meeting up with a director friend of mine in a couple of slices of spacetime to discuss a live film project we're working on. I'm thinking of trying to do a string of that Twilight Maze thing if we can get enough of the logistics together (including mind-uploading technology so I can instantly learn acting/drama Kung Fu). Part of it's going to be live (cyber)punk music playing along with the film, which will be fun for me, actually being able to soundtrack with music I appreciate substantially from a personal/artistic standpoint. The guy's a big fan of Bertolucci and Tarkovsky and the like, so this should be, at the minimalistly, interesting.

Visited the Bradbury Building with my daughter and her boyfriend. The public is no longer allowed upstairs unless you have business to conduct with the tenents. Feh. In the "old" days, `70-`80s, you could use those fine elevators to climb to any floor.

It (the bldg.) is still looking fine. Just burdoned with a polite security guard at ground floor.

Sleep? who needs it? I'm trying to eradicate it from my life at the moment. I got up yesterday around 3pm and drove to work, worked 12 hours, drove home and now I'm heading to breakfast with my family. After that we're going to a park/picnic area for family fun time.

I'd normally blow this kind of thing off, but since my brother just returned from a six month stint in Iraq I thought I might make the effort. Still, by noon I expect me to either be a drooling retard or a complete bastard. Now taking bets on which.

it's tomorrow already here.

today i got through work fine, funny how your subconscious works to protect you, every time i pulled a trolley i was on red alert. foot held up fine.

one of my good friends at work let three of us girls peek at her hair under her hijab. it had blonde and red highlights. she's going to lebanon to get married soon. hope she stays safe.

i've got an old friend arriving tomorrow to stay for four nights. i'll be happy to see him but already i'm bracing myself for the fact that the first night we'll be visitor free i'll be on the weekend treadmill again. the weeks pass so fast now.

i made an attempt at the personal canon but an hour into it realised it was waaay too wordy but there was no way to edit it. stopped after 1984 when i realised i'd never post it.

777 is luckyluckylucky. 8383 makes it even luckier!
