I like the page that comes up when you google "Gay Bar" and click, "I'm feeling lucky" But that's just me.

I finally managed to get 322.9. I was having
trouble getting it over 300 until I started playing to see how far I could get on the first
bounce without doing a faceplant. Lowest faceplant was around 189.

Hehe - I just used the Penguin site in a lesson! I showed it to the class (prospective physics and chemistry teachers), and asked them 'Prove that the Mythod is a lying hound when he claims he got 494'. They never managed to prove it (despite suggestions to hack the source code), basically because of philosophical problems with inductive reasoning (which was my point), but they're still in the classroom playing the game!

It was in the steroid version, what the hell?
The best I did in the regular one was 325.somethingorother for petes sake dosn't anyone read my frigging posts anymore?
And yes to positivly prove me a liar they would either have to get the source code for the physics engine or time travel back to this spot and watch me play.
Glad I could help you in your classes there Bravus, why don't we have a Myth is filthy liar class everyday? Prove Myth is lying about this or that aww fuck it he's always lying we'll have to prove he's telling the truth from now on.
You're the liar.
You are.

I feel certain there's more, always is.

If all Mythods are liars, and The Mythod tells you he's lying...

Oh, never mind.

Dude, chill! Wink I didn't use your name, just said 'this guy claims'... and you have to admit, it's a much better story and setup for a lesson[1] the way I describe it! So yep, I fibbed about it to make it a better story - must be the Irish in me...

Bravus

DP - thanks so much: I think the students had fun, after a pretty hard morning of grinding their heads against the mysteries of unit planning.

[1] Yes, yes, that *should* in fact say 'pretext for playing the penguin game in class' Razz

That was meant to be a playful rant however I can see it being(*cough*willfully) misconstrued. Seriously I was just funnin'.
I do have a slightly...antagonistic sense of humor. Oh well. Not everybody gets it.
