after a few rounds i discovered it was easier to get a first hit if you use the double-click button. then again, maybe it's different if you use a mouse instead of a wacom board. i got rather bored by the end, and wasn't too unhappy when i got thrown out after 10 stages/100 rounds (other way around?).

MoM is either gonna love or hate that game.
I don't think it's that great, there is no sense of progression. But it's fun for the first time player, there is one where you fling cats against a wall and try and impale them or get them through a hole in the wall whatever, its more fun impaling.

Managed to hit the sweet spot and get 588.8. Not quite as addictive as the Kittens game - brutal, and ludicrous - bloody brilliant Smile

I have to drop by here more often - thanks for the laughs to those who dug these things up, or ran across them.

from today's SMH letters page:
    Senseless bashings

It was interesting, in an appalling sense, to read in Radar ("Stress purge", January 28) of the new computer "game" of Bat the Penguins, and to read your journalist's comment that "Radar scored 535 metres. Beat that!".

With this sort of training, is it any wonder that we have mass slaughters of birds by baseball-bat wielding brats - as happened recently on an island refuge for a sea bird breeding colony in NSW?

All of us, and particularly the influential media, have a responsibility to promote abhorrence of such acts. The thought of any bird bashing, even in a simulated game, is bad enough, but those of us who have experienced the majesty and beauty of Antarctic penguins at first hand feel doubly sickened by your report.
And don't even get me started on the kitten-hunt!
